Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has expressed satisfaction with the club’s just-ended military-supervised training programme at the Teshie Military Combat School.
The four-day exercise formed a key part of the Phobians’ pre-season plans as they prepare for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The specially designed programme, developed by the technical team, focused on improving the players’ mental fortitude, physical resilience, and overall stamina.
Under the guidance of experienced military personnel, the squad engaged in intense drills aimed at pushing their limits and reinforcing discipline.
Dramani believes the objective was met. “We came here with a clear goal, which is to toughen the boys both physically and mentally. I’m proud to say the team responded positively, and we are pleased with the outcome,” he said.
The military trainers overseeing the programme also commended the Hearts of Oak players for their commitment and attitude throughout the sessions.
With this crucial phase of their pre-season completed, the team will now resume training at their base in Kpobiman as they shift focus to tactical preparations ahead of the new season.
