
Ghanaian international Bismark Ampofo scored late on Monday evening to seal a 4-1 win for Inter Turku against HJK in the Finnish Veikkausliga.
The midfielder started for his team on the matchday and played the entire duration of the contest.
In the game hosted by HJK, the team struggled to contain the attack of Inter Turku, losing both halves of the match.
Inter Turku opened the scoring after just 18 minutes into the first half, thanks to a strike by Florian Krebs after he was set up by Cameroonian forward Loic Essomba.
The Cameroonian youngster, later in the 27th minute, showed his quality again, this time assisting Jean Botue to score to double the lead for the visitors.
Although HJK would equalise through Alexander Ring in the 70th minute, the team could not complete a comeback.
Goals from Finnish youngster Johannes Yli-Kokko and Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Ampofo late in the game sealed the big 4-1 win for Inter Turku.
Ampofo, 23, has featured this season in 14 matches for Inter Turku. This is his first goal for his side and is expected to boost his morale heading into upcoming matches.
