Ghana international Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer is set to stay at Hamburger SV for the 2025/26 football season.
This comes after his anticipated move to French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice fell through at the last minute.
The Black Stars attacker had agreed on personal terms with the French Ligue 1 outfit ahead of the proposed 6 million euros move in the ongoing summer transfer window.
With both clubs finalising a move upon agreement of the transfer fee, the Ghana international had moved closer to joining the French outfit from Hamburger SV.
However, his move has collapsed per reports by French broadcaster RMC Sport.
This is a result of an unspecified issue detected during his first medical examination. Upon a second medical examination, OGC Nice decided against signing the forward and ultimately ended their pursuit of the forward.
Although Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer was looking forward to playing in France, he is understood to be happy to stay at Hamburger SV for the upcoming season and looks forward to playing in the German Bundesliga.
