Aduana FC are preparing to offer a three-year contract to former Legon Cities midfielder Alidu Mohammed, sources close to the club have confirmed.
The talented central midfielder is currently a free agent after parting ways with the Royals earlier this year, and Aduana have now stepped up efforts to secure his signature as they continue to reshape their squad ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.
Alidu, known for his calm presence on the ball, passing range, and ability to dictate play from deep positions, has been on Aduana’s radar since the start of the transfer window.
The club believes he can bring composure and experience to their midfield, especially with continental ambitions in sight.
Negotiations between both parties have progressed positively in recent days, and Aduana FC are now ready to officially submit a long-term contract that would keep Alidu in Dormaa until 2028 if agreed.
Should the deal go through, Alidu Mohammed would become one of several high-profile recruits this summer as Aduana look to mount a stronger title challenge and improve squad depth.
