
Ghanaian teenager Akwasi Owusu has expressed his delight after completing his move to Danish club Vendsyssel FF.
Speaking in his first interview, the promising midfielder said he is eager to contribute positively to the new club.
“I am happy to have signed with Vendsyssel FF. It is an exciting club that I hope to contribute positively to, so that we can fight at the top this season and give our fans a lot to look forward to,” Akwasi Owusu told the club’s official website.
On his part, Vendsyssel’s Sporting Director Jens Hammer Sorensen also praised the acquisition, highlighting the youngster’s work ethic and well-rounded skillset.
He said, “Akwasi is an exciting, young midfielder... we look forward to him developing and unleashing his potential in the white Vendsyssel jersey.”
Vendsyssel FF announced the signing of the Ghanaian teenager in an official notice on Thursday, July 31.
The midfielder has signed a one-year deal with the Danish 2nd Division side and will hope to play regularly to continue his development.
