
Kaizer Chiefs officials have paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi ahead of their upcoming Toyota Cup showdown with Asante Kotoko.
The two clubs are set to face off on July 28 in South Africa in this years edition of the prestigious Toyota Cup.
During the visit, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II expressed confidence in Asante Kotokos strength while acknowledging the rich history and stature of South African giants Kaizer Chiefs.
He also welcomed the growing bond between the two clubs, highlighting footballs remarkable power to foster unity across cultures and borders.
The meeting further cemented the friendship between Asante Kotoko and Kaizer Chiefs, with their forthcoming clash expected to serve as a symbol of sporting camaraderie.

Asante Kotoko are scheduled to depart Ghana next week to honour the fixture in South Africa.
