RC Lens Sporting Director Jean-Louis Leca has touted diminutive Austrian-Ghanaian defender Samson Baidoo for his qualities.Baidoo joins Lens on five-year from Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg, bringing an end to his three-year spell at the club.Despite Salzburg receiving offers from Premier League clubs, the Ghanaian defender opted to join Lens upon conversation with Kevin Danso, a former player of Lens.Having made meteoric rise at Salzburg, Baidoo has now embraced a new chapter in his career by joining Lens and his expected to play a huge role for the club.Baidoo has already established himself a solid defender in the game considering his leadership skills, proven physical strength, and technical skill.Following the footsteps of compatriot, Kevin Danso, the 21-year-old defender is poised to contribute his quota towards the success of the club.The Austrian-Ghanaian centre-back has been handed the jersey number 6 at the French outfit heading into his debut campaign.Samson is a player that the recruitment team has been eyeing for a while.
