Ghanaian youngster Emmanuel Gyabuaa joins Avellino on season-long loan from Atalanta
Italian-born Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Gyabuaa has completed a season-long loan move to Serie B newcomers US Avellino from Serie A outfit Atalanta BC.The 23-year-old joins the Biancoverdi in search of regular first-team football after previously spending time on loan at Perugia and Pescara.Gyabuaa, a product of the youth academies of Parma and Atalanta, has amassed 114 appearances across Italys top three divisions and domestic cup competitions.Despite his strong ties to Italy, the dynamic midfielder remains eligible to represent Ghan at the international level, courtesy of his Ghanaian heritage.Avellino announced the deal with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the 2025-26 season.The club expressed their excitement over acquiring the talented midfielder, welcoming him to Irpinia with a warm statement.Gyabuaa becomes the second player of Ghanaian descent to join Avellino this summer, following Justin Kumis arrival earlier in July.His addition is seen as a major boost to Avellinos midfield options as they prepare for life in the highly competitive Serie B.With his versatility, vision, and experience, Emmanuel Gyabuaa is expected to play a pivotal role in Avellinos survival and progression in the Italian second tier.
