Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan could be on his way to Serie B newcomers Avellino as the club continues to strengthen its midfield.The experienced former Serie A player has been offered to Avellino by Venezia, who are keen to cash in before his contract expires next year.Duncan, 32, made just sixteen appearances last season due to persistent injuries, but his top-flight pedigree remains appealing. Avellinos sporting director Mario Aiello is carefully assessing the situation as the club maps out its plans for the upcoming campaign.Venezias intent is clear, they hope to sell Duncan now rather than risk losing him on a free. According to Transfermarkt, the Ghanaians current market value stands at 1.40 million.Avellino have already bolstered their midfield with the loan signing of Italian-Ghanaian Justin Kumi.
