Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman begins training with AJ Auxerre after Brighton loan move
Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman has officially begun training with French Ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre after sealing a season-long loan move from Brighton & Hove Albion.The 20-year-old arrived in France last week and was warmly welcomed by his new teammates as he took part in pre-season drills. Osman will wear the number 23 shirt and is hoping to play a key role in Auxerres campaign.Happy to be here. Cant wait to get started. See you soon, Osman shared in a short message after his unveiling.The deal includes a 16 million option to buy, giving Auxerre the chance to make the move permanent based on his performance this season.Osman previously spent last season on loan at Dutch side Feyenoord, where he made 32 appearances, scored four goals and added three assists. Brighton signed him from Danish club FC Nordsjlland in early 2024.Auxerre, who finished 11th in Ligue 1 last season, are optimistic Osmans pace and creativity will strengthen their frontline. He joins fellow Ghanaians Gideon Mensah and Elisha Owusu at the club - a trio that could boost both camaraderie and chemistry on the pitch.
