2026 World Cup qualifiers: Madagascar release 23-man squad for Central African Republic and Ghana games
Madagascar head coach, Corentin Martins, has announced a 23-man squad for the upcoming games in the 2026 World Cup qualifying games.The Barea will take on Central African Republic and Ghana all in the Matchday five and six games in the qualifiers later this month.Corentin Martins, appointed as Madagascar's national coach in January 2025, is gearing up for his first outings with the Barea.The national team will travel to Stade El Arbi Zaouli on March 19 to face the Central African Republic before hosting Ghana at Stade Mimoun-Al-Arsi on March 24 in Morocco.In coach Corentin Martins' list, the arrival of five new players is noted.Dupire Geordan (Swift Hesperange), Noireau-Dauriat Samuel (EA Guingamp), Acapandi Mathieu (FC Nantes), Marcellin Jean Harisson (Beitar Jerusalem), and Iva Tommy (US Orlans) are called up for the first time to Madagascar's national team.Meanwhile, Rakotonomenjanahary J.
