Kotoko coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has commended the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the enhanced security measures implemented at the Baba Yara Stadium during Kotoko's 2-0 win over Legon Cities.Ogum praised the increased security presence, particularly in the tunnel area, which ensured a safe environment for all stakeholders. What I saw today is good, it's good for our game. Everybody was safe within the tunnel, there were a lot of security men in the tunnel. The coach highlighted the importance of maintaining this level of security at all Ghana Premier League centers, citing the tragic incident involving fan Francis Yaw Pooley Frimpong at Nsoatre. If this can continue and will be the same at all centers, then that would be perfect.Ogum's comments come after the Ghana Premier League's resumption following a multiple-week suspension. The league was put on hold after the tragic death of Pooley, who was stabbed multiple times during a violent clash at Nsoatre.Kotoko's win over Legon Cities marked their return to action, and Ogum is hopeful that the improved security measures will continue to provide a safe environment for players, officials, and fans.Kotoko's next match is against Samartex on Sunday, March 16.
