Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum has emphasised the importance of a gradual approach to training, rather than pushing his players too hard, too soon.Ogum's comments come after Kotoko's 2-0 win over Legon Cities, which marked their return to Ghana Premier League action after a four-week break.Despite the win, Ogum acknowledged that his players are still struggling with fitness and sharpness.When players return, especially after such emotional pain, you dont push them immediately, Ogum explained. It has to be a gradual processlow to medium to high intensity.Ogum's cautious approach is designed to help his players regain their fitness and sharpness, without risking injury or burnout.Kotoko will now focus on their FA Cup round of 16 clash against Sekondi Eleven Wise and their upcoming league match against Samartex.
