GFA officials can't travel in first class just like Mahama has barred gov't appointees - Kofi Adams

Ghanas Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to align with the governments policies.He emphasized that GFA officials must adhere to President John Mahamas directive prohibiting appointees from traveling in first-class flights.Speaking on Luv FM after his swearing-in ceremony, Adams referenced the Presidents directive banning foreign travel unless approved by the Chief of Staff and restricting first-class travel for government officials.He stressed that this policy must also apply to GFA officials to reflect the governments commitment to responsible governance.Even yesterday [Friday, February 7] at our swearing-in, what did His Excellency the President say? He said foreign travels are banned, and where necessary, they must be cleared with the Chief of Staff. Anyone cleared to travel should not fly first classat best, business class.This should tell you that this is the mindset of the President, and every other person must develop the same mindset, including the GFA. The GFA cannot live in a different world when the Presidents objectives and direction are clear.We will sit with them to have that understanding, and I believe they will not kick against any such proposition.
