President Mahama has assured me of his unwavering support- Sports Minister Kofi Adams

Newly appointed Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has expressed gratitude for President John Dramani Mahama's pledge of 24/7 support as he takes on the challenging task of reforming Ghana's sports sector.Adams acknowledged the significant issues plaguing the sector, including underfunding, poor infrastructure, and corruption.Sports has been under funded so infrastructure has been poor, there's been a lot of complains of corruption. Ghanaians are not happy about what we've done to the other sports, even in terms of football, we have focused more on just the Black Stars and so there is a lot to be done in that area, Adams said.President Mahama has assured me of his unwavering support, Adams added.Adams' appointment comes at a critical time, following a tragic incident where a football fan was stabbed to death during a league game between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC.With President Mahama's assurance of constant support, Adams is expected to bring about positive change to Ghana's sporting sector.
