The Black Stars of Ghana will begin their campaign Africa Cup of Nations against Benin on 25 June, 2019 in Ismailia.
The match will be played at the Ismailia Stadium which is not new to the four-time African champions after a painful 2-1 defeat to Zimbabwe evicted from the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Indomitable Lions eliminated Ghana from the competition in the 2008 on home soil enroute to winning the trophy in Gabon.
