Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Boateng has expressed delight in scoring his first goal in the serie B for Spezia in the current campaign.
Emmanuel Gyasi climbed off the bench to power Spezia to victory over Brescia in the Italian Serie B on Saturday.
Following the victory on Saturday the 24 year old said he was happy to score his first goal for the club as they secured all three points.
"Great excitement for the first goal in Serie B, after a good choral action", Emmanuel Gyasi happily affirms. "I do not fear the bench because I know there is great competition in the attacking department. I will try to take the field as much as possible and to do so I will have to work hard, taking advantage of every opportunity ".
Spezia, who went into the match on the back of two successive defeats, were pegged back by Alfredo Donnarumma's first minute strike.
But Nicholas Pierini pulled level five minutes later with a fine strike before doubling his tally on the 17th minute to hand Spezia a 2-1 lead.
Spezia looked set to end the half with an advantage, Leonardo Morosini popped up with the equalizer three minute later.
Coach Pasquale Marino called upon Ghanaian sharp-shooter Emmanuel Gyasi on the 58th minute when the match became tough for his side.
