FIFA and CAF top officials Veron Mosengo-Omba and Amadu Pinnick will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday to kick-start the process of normalising football in the powerful West African nation, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
The two officials will hold meeting with Ghana's sports minister Isaac Asiamah in the Accra to pave way for the announcement of members of the FIFA normalisation committee, GHANAsoccernet.com can report.
It's widely believed the two men will be part of the members of the five-man FIFA Normalisation committee set to be announced in the Ghanaian capital.
FIFA's intervention follows an investigative piece by controversial journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas which revealed widespread infractions in the game.
The widely publicized corruption led to the suspension of former Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
Nyantakyi, who also also resigned from his role at CAF, is serving a 45 day suspension extension from the world governing body.
Local fans are getting increasingly impatient with the snail pace of announcing members of the normalisation committee which will pave way for football to return to normalcy.
