
Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah is planning to depart Torino in the summer - with English Premier League mooted as his destination.
The hard-tackling midfielder was a key figure during Sinisa Mihajlovic's rein, but has failed to make an impression since the Serbian was sacked and replaced with Walter Mazzari.
The 26-year-old was very close to Birmingham switch last summer but the coach Mihajlovic blocked the move - describing the midfielder as a key cog of his team.
However, Acquah managed to make 22 appearances as the Maroons finished 9th on the Italian Serie A standings.
According to reports reaching GHANAsoccernet.com, the player's representative, Arthur Oliver is strenuously working around the clock to find his client a new team with particular attention to England.
At the moment, no official offer has yet been received, but there are rumors that several Premier League and Championship clubs are interested in the Ghanaian.
