
Inter Allies midfielder Isaac Twum is relishing the opportunity to make his maiden call up to the Black Stars count.
Twum, who was adjudged the most valuable player at the just ended WAFU Cup of Nations, where he captained the Black Stars B to win the trophy.
The 19-year-old's performances in the tournament was rewarded with a maiden Cal up into the Black Stars ahead of the penultimate match of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier clash against the cranes of Uganda.
"It is an honour to be called up into the Black Stars and I am ready to fight for a place in the squad, just like every player."
"In order to get my chance I need to justify my inclusion by proving my worth and this is one of the biggest challenges of my career."
