
Ghana forward Jordan Ayew came off the bench to send Swansea City to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup as they saw off Reading 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium.
The Welsh-based club kept up their superb form against Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League over the weekend, with a 2-0 victory over Championship side Reading in the round of 16 tie of the Carabao Cup.
Swansea City broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute through centre-back Alfie Mawson.
Paul Clement's side doubled their lead in the 83rd minute when Jordan Ayew, who replaced Wayne Routledge kept his cool to plant his low shot past goalkeeper Anssi Jaakkola.
