Assistant Head Coach of Medeama, Eric Amponsah, says he has no fears over his future, despite his team’s abysmal start to the league.
The Tarkwa based side have recorded just one home win all season and are currently 14th in the league and in danger of relegation.
Amponsah however suggests that the team is not bothered by this poor start and is only focused on turning things around.
“As a coach, you know you can win, lose or draw a game. So you will surely be worried about your job if you’re not winning games. But that’s not the case here at Medeama.
It’s not about bad coaching team or players. The problem is transition. We have had about fifteen new players and that is what is causing the problem, not the technical team,” he said.
Medeama welcome league leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko to the Tarkwa T&A park in their next league fixture.
