Black Stars deputy captain Andre Ayew misses out CAF's 5-man shortlist for African Footballer of the year award
Ghana deputycaptain Andre Ayew has failed to make Confederation of African Football's five man shortlist for the 2016 African Footballer of the Year award.
The West Ham star will not have the opportunity to win the continent elite prize this term as he has been overlooked by the Federation.
He made the final three last year but missed out on the individual accolade to Dortmund Star Aubameyang who made the cut.
The top five was decided by votes from the members of the CAF Media Committee, CAF Technical & Development Committee and half of the 20-member Panel of Experts (10 persons)....
