Presidential Candidate of the All People’s Congress (APC) Hassan Ayariga has unveiled his vision for Ghana’s future, promising to increase the minimum salary to GH¢5,000.
This announcement was made during the launch of his manifesto, dubbed “The Nation’s Manifesto,” at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Auditorium on Sunday night.
Hassan Ayariga’s manifesto outlines a comprehensive plan to address Ghana’s economic challenges, improve living standards, and restore hope among Ghanaians.
The APC presidential candidate emphasized that his vision is built around the mantra “Transforming Ghana and Restoring Hope.”
He said the salary increment will be: Bi-Weekly Salary System, where Workers will be paid every two weeks instead of monthly, ensuring a more consistent and reliable income stream.
Also, increased Minimum Wage, where the minimum wage will be increased to between GH¢150 and GH¢300, providing a significant boost to the purchasing power of Ghanaian workers.
He has pledged to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, increase access to credit, and promote made-in-Ghana goods.
