In a significant boost to his Presidential campaign, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has received a resounding endorsement from Obrempong Appiah Nuamah II, Paramount Chief of Twifo Mampong in the Central Region.
The chief’s backing comes on the heels of Dr Bawumia’s five-day campaign tour of the region.
Obrempong Nuamah II praised Bawumia, saying, “You are one of the best Vice Presidents Ghana has ever had.”
He urged Ghanaians to allow the Presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to lead, citing his impressive track record.
“Your Works Speak for Themselves”
The chief continued, “When I sit back and look at all the work you and this government have done, it is simply amazing. Your work is visible everywhere. Though you have not been able to do everything, you have shown that when given the opportunity, you can do many major things.”
Bawumia’s Vision for Ghana
During his visit to the chief’s palace, Dr Bawumia shared his comprehensive vision for Ghana’s transformation, focusing on Economic Empowerment”: Leveraging the private sector to drive growth and create jobs, Infrastructure Development”: Upgrading roads, transportation systems, and other critical infrastructure, Education and Healthcare”: Enhancing access to quality education and healthcare services and harnessing technology to accelerate national growth and development.
Predicting Bawumia’s Victory
Obrempong Nuamah II predicted Bawumia’s victory, saying, “In the previous election, I sat here and told Nana Akufo-Addo he would come and say Thank You to us, and it came to pass. Today, I am also sitting here and telling you that after December 7, you will also come and say Thank you to us in this palace.”
Bawumia’s Gratitude
Dr Bawumia expressed deep gratitude for the chief’s endorsement, saying, “I am humbled by your kind words and endorsement. I promise to work tirelessly for the welfare of all Ghanaians.”
