Annoh-Dompreh and chiefs of Chinto cutting the ribbon to unveil the DRIP machines
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has urged Zongo communities to reject the Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a ceremony to unveil equipment allocated to the municipality under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), Mr. Annoh-Dompreh praised the development agenda of the NPP and its Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He argued that the NPP’s development agenda, spearheaded by Dr. Bawumia, has brought significant benefits to the Zongo community and the country at large.
He cited the DRIP programme as an example of the NPP’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
The Majority Chief Whip therefore urged Zongo communities to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP in the upcoming elections to ensure the continuation of the development agenda.
He stated that the return of the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama, would be detrimental to the country, adding that only the NPP has the best interests of Ghanaians at heart.
At an event held at Chinto, a suburb within the municipality, Mr. Annoh-Dompreh expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for initiating the DRIP programme.
He promised to partner with the Municipal Assembly to ensure the equipment is put to maximum use.
He also donated 35 brand-new HP laptops to the NAVA basic school to support their studies.
The Municipal Chief Executive for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Emmanuel Owusu Arthur, thanked the Majority Chief Whip, Mr. Annoh-Dompreh, for his support and partnership in ensuring the programme’s success.
Chinto Community Chiefs also expressed gratitude to the government for the DRIP machines and pledged to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Parliamentary Candidate, Annoh-Dompreh, to continue enjoying such massive interventions from the government.
