Voting is underway to elect a Parliamentary Candidate to replace Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh after his elevation to the running mate position, leaving the seat vacant.
A total of 568 delegates are voting to choose from four candidates contesting in the Manyhia South primary.
Prof. Smart Sarpong’s science and data research tipped Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah to win the Manhyia South Parliamentary Primary.
According to Prof Sarpong’s survey, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah is expected to win the Manhyia South NPP parliamentary primary by not less than 70% of the delegates’ votes.
Competing candidates in the race include Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, Nana Owusu Afriyie Prempeh, the Manhyia South Constituency Treasurer and biological brother of Dr. Opoku Prempeh and Akwasi Coker Gyambibi.
