The gathering, which took place as part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports media briefing on Monday, March 18, 2024, provided a platform for these esteemed medalists to share their past experiences and offer valuable lessons to the aspiring athletes participating in the games.
These athletes include Alice Anum, Oko Addy, Mike Ahey, Hannah Afriyie, Ohene Karikari, among others.

“Drawing from our own experiences, we aim to inspire and guide the next generation of athletes towards excellence,” remarked Hannah Afriyie a retired track and field athlete who won two gold medals in the 100 and 200 metres sprints at the 1978 All Africa Games in Algiers.
