Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed condolences to the family of Fuseini Mumuni, the late bodyguard of his wife, Samira Bawumia.
The convoy of the Second Lady was involved in a serious road accident on Saturday at Ohene-Nkwanta near Nobewam, off the Kumasi-Accra highway.
Mumuni, who was traveling in one of the convoy vehicles, died on the spot.
The incident occurred when a commercial vehicle collided with one of the vehicles in the Second Lady’s convoy as they were returning to Accra from Bonwire in the Ashanti Region.
He was buried in Accra on Sunday.
Dr Bawumia in a post on X said, “My condolences to his family and friends. May Allah forgive Fuseini’s shortcomings and grant him Jannah.”
