I am so fascinated by the times we live in. A time where anyone who desires to be a celebrity can easily do it. This social media magnate is really a puller and a behemoth.
Just some years before these social media platforms magnate, being a celebrity was a preserve of few who were endowed with creative abilities like musicians, movie stars and the likes; but as of today, every person can choose to be a celebrity.
It does not matter; all they need to do is appear on any of the social media platforms and do whatever they desire to do. In fact, anything at all. What one might consider as not having any traction would still work. Think about this: squeezing of pimples is a delight to some people; someone silently looking unconcerned also has an attraction for some people to watch. These are quite rare examples.
The fact is, the social media can help anyone who chooses to showcase their peculiarities as a product. It does accept anything so far as it falls within the definition of their confinement. Look, the social media has given anyone the right to build their own following, just like a normal stream of a celebrity would have done just before the rise of the social media.
All those on social media now considered as influencers are celebrities as well. The thing is, anyone can also be an influencer. The social media is a leveller for all. The amazing part of this social media is that it has the ability to solve all these unemployment challenges. Everybody can go on it and learn to deploy themselves onto one of its platforms and make employment from it. I mean everyone.
The power of this social media is enormous, very extensive, especially getting employment.
The social media is actually a business, a business where people get to deploy themselves. You have to build your own routines. Everything is you; and I mean you in every aspect of it. You are solely responsible for how that business turns out or goes.
This speaks to the similarities of being an entrepreneur. You are your own boss and you dictate the pace of your business. The social media has opened up opportunities for people to monetise their passions, talents and skills.
Whether it is creating content, offering services or selling products, the social media has made it possible for anyone to reach a global audience. And it is not just about making money; it is about building a community, creating a brand and leaving a mark.
The social media has blurred the lines between celebrities and ordinary people.
Anyone can become a celebrity in their own right, with their own followers and fans. It is a democratisation of fame, where everyone has a chance to shine.
But with great power comes great responsibility. As we navigate this new world of social media, we must be mindful of the impact it has on eradicating unemployment completely.
Let us use it to educate on this path of eradicating unemployment completely.
In conclusion, living in this time is a blessing and the social media is a powerful tool that can help us be creative and make the most of it.
