Aurelia Abena Attipoe, founder of The Pitch Hub, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Investor & Startup Mentorship Leadership Award at the 4th Ghana Philanthropy Awards. The ceremony took place on 30th October 2025 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, with her parents receiving the award on her behalf.
The 4th Ghana Philanthropy Awards honoured more than 30 individuals and organisations whose work is contributing to social impact in various communities across the country. Organisers noted that philanthropy in Ghana continues to expand beyond financial donations to include mentorship, knowledge sharing, and professional support.
Attipoe was recognised for her work in providing mentorship and investment-readiness support to early-stage entrepreneurs.
Her organisation, The Pitch Hub, offers pitch development, business structure support, mentoring, and networking avenues for founders. The organisation also partners with institutions such as bp to run programmes focused on developing young innovators.
According to the awards committee, honourees were selected through a process involving independent research and assessment by a panel of experts in development and philanthropy.
In a statement after the announcement, Attipoe expressed appreciation and credited her team, partners, and the entrepreneurs they work with for contributing to the impact recognised.
“I’m truly grateful to the Ghana Philanthropy Awards for honouring me with the 2025 Investor & Startup Mentorship Leadership Award. This award belongs to The Pitch Hub team, partners, and the inspiring founders we serve. We’ll keep backing bold Ghanaian and African ideas, sharing knowledge, and opening doors to jobs and impact across our communities.”
The event also highlighted other contributors, such as Eminence Lead International, which received an award for ecosystem development efforts.
Speakers at the ceremony, including Labour Expert Consultant Austin Gamey and Father Andrew Campbell, emphasised the importance of continued philanthropic and community-building efforts.
