Leading indigenous petroleum downstream company, Petrosol Ghana Limited, has recognized and rewarded some of its long-serving management and staff at an awards and dinner event held at the plush AH Hotel in East Legon.
The special occasion was the company’s way of appreciating the award winners for their impactful contributions and loyalty that have spearheaded the continuous growth and expansion of the brand over the years.
“At Petrosol, we recognize the need to invest in our staff by celebrating and rewarding their contributions in line with our vision of building a leading indigenous brand that’s committed to excellence.
This awards ceremony was a great moment to celebrate them for their impactful contributions over the years and an inspiration to others in ensuring the delivery of seamless services to our cherished customers, clients and partners,” said Mr. Michael Bozumbil, chief executive officer of the company.
As a leading oil marketing company, Mr. Bozumbil said that Petrosol remained committed to the well-being of its staff with aggressive investment in building the right expertise and strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
Looking ahead, he disclosed that the company is poised to growth exponentially with its highly-motivated workforce and strategic measures that will align its operations to the modern demands of the industry.
“The future of the company is very bright; we plan to make Petrosol a major industry player in the next decade and an employer of choice. We will expand operations to other parts of the country, as well as increase our workforce and investment into the business,” he added.
Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Employers Association (GEA), Mr. Alex Frimpong, commended the leadership of Petrosol for honouring and appreciating the effort of their long-serving staff who have played diverse roles in driving the growth of the company.
“Employers must think outside the box, understand the needs of the industry and prioritize the well-being of their workforce. No organization can do without employees, hence the need to motivate and reward their contributions,” he said.
Several retail and non-retail staff stationed in various parts of the country were rewarded with packages that comprised of cash, career development support, an award plaque and a citation.
