The Ghana Business Awards has shortlisted a total of 126 individuals and businesses for honours for the seventh edition of the prestigious event.
The shortlisted nominees who have made significant contributions towards driving a sustainable and innovative climate era, will be recognized for their exemplified qualities of leadership, sustained business performance, integrity, corporate vision, and innovation.
On the theme ‘Business Unity for Climate Impact: Innovating for a Sustainable Future’, the awards will spotlight achievements in areas such as sustainability, operational excellence, and innovation on the local and international scale.
It will also focus on key topics such as innovation for sustainability, business collaboration for climate impact, financing green transition, policy and regulation for sustainable growth, as well as Youth and Entrepreneurship in Climate Action, while providing a platform for interactive and networking sessions with dedicated time for participants to connect, share ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Kempiski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, the keynote address will be delivered by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo.

The shortlisted nominees include Nick Danso Agyei, CEO, Ghana Link Services Limited; Daniel MacKorley, CEO, McDan Group; Bernard Agbloe Lomotey, CEO, BenMarine Offshore Services Limited; Mukesh Thakwani, CEO, B5 Plus Limited; Joseph Siaw Agyapong, Founder and Executive Chairman, Jospong Group; Dr Mustapha Abdul Hamid, CEO, National Petroleum Authority; Daniel Asiedu, Managing Director, OmniBSIC Bank; Sir Raj Mohan, CEO, UniChem Limited; Osafohene Dr. Afua Asabea Asare, CEO, Ghana Export Promotion Authority; and Felicia Edem Attipoe, MCE, Tema West Municipal Assembly.
Others are Labadi Beach Hotel, Ghana Link Services Limited, BenMarine Offshore Services Limited, National Petroleum Authority, ADB Bank, M&C Group, Comsys Ghana Limited, Ecoms Ghana, and Apex Health Insurance.
Climate change edition
Dubbed ‘The Climate Change Edition’, the event which is being organized by Globe Productions Limited, is in partnership with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, the African Women and Children’s Conference, the United Nations, the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, with support from the Graphic Communications Group Ltd, and Joy Business.
