Star Assurance has reaffirmed its commitment to helping children in underserved communities by donating GH¢20,000 to support the Hope for Little Lives Foundation’s Christmas activities in Sekondi-Takoradi.
This generous contribution marks Star Assurance’s long-standing partnership with the foundation, which strives to provide essential healthcare services to children in need.
The funds will support various Christmas activities – including health education and free screening for children, free surgeries for children with various medical conditions, and other initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children in underserved communities.
During a presentation ceremony, CEO-Star Assurance, Boatemaa Barfour-Awuah, expressed the company’s dedication to the foundation’s mission.

Director of Programmes and Outreach at Hope for Little Lives Foundation, Dr. Jeffrey Parker, expressed his deep gratitude to Star Assurance for their consistent support.
“Thanks to Star Assurance’s unwavering commitment, we have performed over 170 surgeries and screened over 1,200 children in the past three to four years.
“This has significantly impacted the lives of countless children and families. We are incredibly grateful for Star Assurance’s partnership and continued support,” he said.
