The Knowledge Ghana Project (KGP), an initiative that seeks to support the implementation of the government's national public sector reform strategy was yesterday launched in Accra.
The initiative is collaboration between the Mutlimedia Group and KPG.
Launching it, Chairman of KGP Mr Samuel Otabil, said, the initiative would enhance the efficiency of the public sector.
According to him, bureaucracy engenders corruption, adding that members of the public were unable to hold public office holders to account because of the lack of information.
Mr Otabil said the KGP would support the course of building the capacity of state institutions such as regulatory agencies to enable them to deliver quality service.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of 2KO, Mr Edwin Acheampong, said, he was optimistic that KPG would ensure the flow of information between institutions and citizens.
He noted that KGP would provide a mobile application to harmonise the work of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
He explained that the KPG would tap the expertise of public servants to enhance productivity in the public sector.
