At least seven people have died, with 132 still reported injured after the two explosions at a petrol station in Ghana's capital, Accra, the Presidency confirmed on Sunday.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the country cannot afford anymore gas explosions, following the incident that took place at the Atomic Junction on Saturday, October 7, 2017, when seven people lost their lives and several injuries were recorded, as a result of the gas explosion at Atomic Junction.
Two gas stations in Accra have exploded, killing an unknown number of people. The blasts sent a fireball into the sky and were heard, seen and felt across the city.
