Forestry Commission Fights Forest Depletion

The Chief Executive of the Forestry Commission, Mr. Samuel Afari Dartey, has called on Ghanaians to be conscious of their responsibilities and protect our forests, because a degraded environment is a threat to national development. According to him, it was defeatist for Ghanaians to throw their arms up in despair and allow a few social misfits and miscreants who in pursue of their own inordinate ambition to endanger the lives of millions of innocent and law-abiding citizens.
