The Chronicle on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 broke the story of how the Chief Executive of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Captain Anthony Cudjoe (Rtd.), allegedly collected GH¢30, 000 from the Assembly for a 13-day official trip to Columbia, which he failed to undertake, but reportedly kept the money.
