
Ghanaian music executive and former manager of Stonebwoy, Blakk Cedi, has shared his personal accomplishment of graduating from the university after 15 years and three attempts.
In a post on his official Facebook page on May 20, 2025, Blakk Cedi revealed that he has completed the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and has finally submitted his final paper.
Blakk Cedi expressed pride to have accomplished such a feat.
“After 15 years and 3 attempts, I finally submitted my last paper yesterday – and I can’t even explain how proud I am of myself right now,” he wrote.
According to him, this significant milestone was not an easy feat as he took a decision to held unto other commitment for two years in order to be able to focus on school.
“Taking two full years off from everything to focus on school wasn’t easy at all. I had to make sacrifices, stay disciplined, and push through moments when I wanted to give up. But I did it. And I did it right,” he stated.
Blakk Cedi also expressed gratitude to those who supported him throughout his academic journey.
He thanked his lecturers for their support and belief in him, and expressed his appreciation to his classmates for sticking by him.
“To my classmates who supported me and walked this journey with me, thank you. To my lecturers, thank you for your patience, guidance, and belief in me,” he stated.
According to talent manager, the achievement is beyond just earning a certificate.
“This wasn’t just about getting a certificate. This was about proving to myself that I could finish what I started, no matter how long it took,” he concluded.
