Tanzanian music star Juma Jux confirms final wedding reception on May 28

Tanzanian music star Juma Jux has confirmed that the final part of his lavish, multi-country wedding celebrations will take place in Tanzania on May 28, 2025.

The artist, tied the knot with his wife and Nigerian actress, Priscilla Ojo in a series of ceremonies held across different countries in the past weeks.

He described the upcoming event as the grand finale.

In a video shared via Instagram Stories on May 8, Jux jokingly remarked that his wife is “tired” from the back-to-back events, multiple outfit changes, and tedious processes, while all he had to do was wear a suit.

He noted that had initially planned to do wedding ceremonies in every country significant to their love story, beginning with Rwanda, where they first met.

“This month, May 28th is the final JP reception.

“Even those five or six weddings weren’t enough,” he said.

Despite her exhaustion, Jux praised his wife’s efforts throughout the celebrations and said the final reception in Tanzania will be a showstopper.

“Tanzania is the final one. I’ll put everything on that. It’s gonna be crazy,” he teased.

The event is expected to draw a star-studded guest list, with friends and family flying in from Uganda, Kenya, China, the USA, and various parts of Tanzania, making it a truly international affair.
