Veteran Ghanaian music producer, Da’ Hammer has disassociated himself from any involvement in the ongoing controversy about Okomfour Kwadee’s welfare.
In a statement on his Facebook page on Monday, March 3, Da’ Hammer expressed disappointment that his return to social media, which he had hoped would be for the announcement of his new album is rather to address some misconceptions linking him to the Kwadee saga.
Da’ Hammer noted that his clarification has become necessary due to a mistaken identity as some persons as referenced him in the controversy rather than Hammer Nti, who is at the center of the issue.
“Going straight to the point, I wish to firmly clarify that I am not the ‘Hammer’ being named in the ongoing Okomfour Kwadee controversy. I have had no involvement or dealings whatsoever with our brother regarding his health or any related matters. The Hammer being named in the saga is our distinguished Kumasi-based industry colleague known as Hammer Nti,” he stated.

According to him, he has received over 50 calls from concerned family and friends who wrongly assumed he was involved in the matter.
He concluded by wishing all parties involved the best in resolving their differences while making it clear that he had no part in the dispute.
