Kwame Asare-Obeng, the Member of Parliament for the Gomoa Central constituency, has announced an exciting initiative for his constituents.
Through his official X account, A Plus invited residents to participate in a three-day community cleanup exercise scheduled for January 24th to 26th, 2025.
According to legislator, this community engagement initiative will go beyond mere cleanup. It will also serve as a platform to introduce residents to exciting opportunities within the constituency, including ventures in agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism.
A key highlight of this event, he opined, will be the unveiling of plans for a proposed 24-hour economy business district within Gomoa Central.
A Plus also envisions creating a vibrant commercial hub, drawing inspiration from bustling markets like Kantamanto, Abbosey Okai, and Okaishie.
This initiative aims to stimulate economic growth and create employment opportunities for residents. “We’re bringing the energy of Kantamanto, Abbosey Okai, and Okaishie right here to Gomoa Central,” A Plus declared in his social media post.
