From the lens of a broken-hearted girl

One chilly evening, that laughter that made her radiate and glow turned into silence when her lover, Hayes, decided to walk away.

The heartbreak hit her like a sudden storm, leaving her feeling lost and alone mainly because she had trusted him with her slippery past.

From the lens of a broken-hearted girl, the world transformed. The vibrant colors of the world faded into shades of gray. Nella found herself wandering through familiar streets, but everything felt different. The very places where they shared sweet moments now felt empty and haunted.

Each place held a memory that twisted her heart, making her question if she would ever feel whole again. Even in the silent places all she could hear was deafening noise.

Nella started to see that things were not as perfect as they seemed. The picture that Hayes painted to her was a facade. Left to pick up the pieces of her broken heart all alone, Nella began to question, “how?”  and “when?”.

Learning to unlove was now a daunting task. The “harder” she tried, the “hardest” her heart held on to him.

Caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, she decided to leave it all to fate and nature because her power and energy had run out.

From the lens of a broken-hearted girl, the “world’s playground” became a “heart abattoir.”
