Flagebaerer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Former President John Dramani Mahama has promised residents of Berekum, Jinijini, and Sampa that expanding and upgrading the Berekum-Sampa road will be a top priority if he is re-elected in the upcoming elections.
Speaking to a cheering crowd during a campaign rally in the region, Mahama emphasized the importance of the road in improving transportation and connectivity in the area.
He acknowledged the challenges faced by residents due to the poor state of the road and assured them that he would work towards its improvement.
“The Berekum-Sampa road is a critical artery for trade and development. I promise to make its rehabilitation a priority, ensuring safer travel and economic growth.” He stressed.
The Berekum-Sampa road, which is a major route in the region, has been in a deplorable condition for years, causing inconvenience and delays for commuters. Mahama’s promise to address this issue has been welcomed by the residents who see it as a step towards progress and development in their community.
The residents of Berekum, Jinijini, and Sampa have high hopes that Mahama will deliver on his promises if given the opportunity to serve as president once again. They believe that improving the Berekum-Sampa road will not only ease transportation challenges but also stimulate economic growth in the region. Time will tell if Mahama’s pledge to prioritize this project will come to fruition.
