The founder and 2024 presidential candidate for All People’s Congress (APC), Dr. Hassan Ayariga has backed the calls for a presidential debate ahead of the December 7 general election.
He has dared former President and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, and vice president who doubles as the flag bearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia to a live presidential debate to explain their respective visions and policies to the people of Ghana.
Addressing his supporters during the unveiling of his running mate, Ayariga slammed the two major political parties for mishandling Ghana’s economy each time they are in power.
“I am ready to debate Mahama, Bawumia and any other presidential candidates, because these people have failed the good people of Ghana “.
My running mate is equally ready to debate the other vice-presidential candidates on the economy and all the sectors,” he bragged.
Mr. Ayariga in his address touted APC as the only political party that has the best policies to salvage the country from the economic downturn.
APC vice presidential candidate, Rev. Dr. Samuel Walanyo Mensah accepted the challenge to partner Mr. Hassan Ayariga to win the December 7 polls to help transform Ghana.
He urged the Ghanaian electorates to reject NPP and NDC and vote for APC to help develop Ghana.
