Election 2024: Volta Region Resource Group vouches for Bawumia

Ghanaians have been urged to vote massively for the Vice President and flag bearer for the New Patriotic Party as the next President to promote development.

A Pressure Group known as Volta Region Resource Group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at a press briefing in Ho said the Nana Addo and Bawumia led NPP government has performed creditably in spite of the economic difficulties the country is going through.

The General Secretary of the group, King David Akpabli explained that the Nana Addo led NPP led government was delivering perfectly at the beginning of his second term in office until when the country was caught up with COVID-19 which disrupted development activities across the world.

” This notwithstanding, President Nana Addo and his Vice Dr. Bawumia worked tirelessly to save lives of Ghanaians compared to thousands of deaths that occurred in other parts of the World,” Akpabli noted.

The General Secretary said during the difficult period of COVID-19, the President assured Ghanaians he would work hard to protect them.

Mr. Akpabli continued that now that Nana Addo has fulfilled his promise by saving lives, it’s time for Ghanaians to reward the NPP by voting for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP to continue with their developmental agenda for Ghana.

According to King David Akpabli the flagbearer Dr. Bawumia represents and is the hope for the future of Ghana and urged Ghanaians, particularly the people of the Volta Region to vote for him to bring the needed development.

Mr. Akpabli stressed that looking at the direction at which the country is moving, Ghana needs a leader who can take bold and appropriate steps when challenging issues arise and that person is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

He described Dr. Bawumia as a generational thinker, a progressive, innovative and dynamic leader poised to move Ghana beyond levels, saying he uses digitalization to create jobs for over one million Ghanaians.

The General Secretary said development across the globe is moved through digitalization and that when Dr. Bawumia and the NPP is voted into power come December 7th general elections, the country would compete favourably with the developed world to ensure rapid development.

Mr. David Akpabli reminded the newsmen that politics is about development that’s why the Nana Addo and Bawumia led NPP government brought many developments to Ghanaians including Volta Region in the areas of health, education, roads and potable water among others.

He noted that the flagbearer of NPP, Dr. Bawumia made it clear that youth unemployment under his leadership would be a thing of the past as they would be gainfully employed to create wealth for themselves.

The Volta Region Resource Group General Secretary said Dr. Bawumia, having performed creditably well as a Vice President would bring to bear his rich experience in governance to accelerate the needed development Ghanaians are yearning for in the country.
