Barcelona have announced the signing of 18-year-old Ghanaian winger Abdul Aziz Issah on loan from Dreams FC.
Issah will join Barcelona’s B team, Barça Atlètic, for the upcoming season, with the agreement including an option to buy at the end of the loan period, which runs until June 30, 2025.
“The player will travel to Barcelona in the coming days to join Albert Sánchez’s squad,” the club confirmed in their announcement.

Issah’s move to Barcelona makes him the second Ghanaian to join the club this transfer window, following the signing of left-back David Oduro from Accra Lions.
His addition to Barça Atlètic offers him a potential pathway to the first team, a route successfully taken by young stars like Ansu Fati, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Lamine Yamal.
Issah rose to prominence last season with his exceptional performances in the CAF Confederation Cup, where he was recognised as one of CAF’s top young talents.
He played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s historic run to the semi-finals, contributing four goals and two assists in ten matches before their narrow defeat to Egyptian giants Zamalek.
In the Ghana Premier League, Issah was a standout performer, involved in 17 goals across the season—scoring seven and assisting 10.
His impact was equally felt in the FA Cup, where he found the net four times in five games.
On the international stage, Issah has been a key figure for Ghana’s U20 team, helping them secure gold at the Africa Games earlier this year.
