Legendary Ghanaian actress, Grace Omaboe widely known as Maame Dokono has advised men to stay committed and maintain a serious relationship with women who show genuine love towards them.

She said men who do otherwise will suffer the consequences by “paying for it” at God’s appointed time.

“The love affairs and all that, I have passed through all that and if you read my book you will see. There is a lot of lessons you can learn from it. How to live with men.

“Every lady needs to read that book. The men too, you need to read the book and know how to treat a lady well because if you don’t treat them well, it can turn back on you.

“Don’t play hunky-panky with a woman who opens up her heart and shows you love, does everything for you whiles you are doing other things. That one you will actually pay for it,” she said on the Afternoon Show on TV3, Tuesday, September 3.

Maame Dokono to celebrate 6 decades of acting on September 7

Speaking about her book launch set to happen on September 7, 2024 to mark her 60 years in the movie industry, Maame Dokono said her ‘The Unforgettable’ book also encapsulates relationship lessons for both men and women.

Maame Dokono encouraged both genders to purchase her book which is about her personal life experiences including her past relationships, her career and her once political ambition.

The veteran actress also disclosed her intention to produce a movie using her life experiences. Her book launch and other scheduled activities form part of her celebration of her 60^th anniversary in the movie industry.
