Take gospel music seriously, there are so many attacks in the industry – Esther Smith

Gospel musician, Esther Smith has advised gospel musicians not to focus on fame but be serious about God’s ministry.

According to her, the ministry is about the ministration of Christ and preaching the gospel to the people, hence gospel singers must be serious.

She explained that there are many spiritual and physical attacks in the industry and gospel singers must be serious about God’s work.

“I always say that when it comes to gospel music, we should take it seriously. It’s not I want to be famous; I want everybody to see me. We should take its serious because there are so many attacks in it,” she said in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.

“When it comes to hiplife, they are going on their way but when it comes to praises and worship, you are ministering Christ, the anointed one to the people,” she added.
