“Given the huge successes chalked by your predecessors, I believe that the 460,611 of you sitting for this year’s examination have what it takes to maintain the record or yet still do much better. It is Possible!”
These are the words of the running mate to the NPP flagbearer, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh to students sitting for this year’s West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Dr Opoku Prempeh further urged candidates to strive for excellence.
“As you write your West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) which began yesterday, 19th August 2024, I wish to encourage each and every one of you to put your best foot forward,” he encouraged.
The former Education Minister also revealed that the government remains resolute in providing them with better opportunities.
“We remain committed in creating better opportunities for you, even beyond this level, in deep recognition that the nation rests on you, our future leaders. Rest assured that all efforts will be made by the next NPP government led by Dr. Bawumia, to ensure your access to further including tertiary education and beyond that sound prospects within the job market,” he assured.
